Dr.James M Dorais
Dr. Dorais became interested in the natural approach to healing at an early age when his father changed careers and become a chiropractor. It is his mission to provide quality, personalized care to his patients in an effort to give them a more fulfilled and enjoyable life. Dr. Dorais places his emphasis on preventative measures and in educating patients about chiropractic care so they, in turn, can educate others.
Dr. Dorais is a 1994 graduate of Life Chiropractic College in Atlanta, Georgia; and has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of New York. He continues his education on a regular basis. He is a member of the Michigan Association of Chiropractor's. He is Board Certified by the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners. Dr Dorais has special training in sports medicine and was a chiropractor for the 1996 Summer Olympics Athletes, as well as the Dow Corning Women's Tennis Championships in Midland, Michigan. Consequently for six years Dr. Dorais has been nominated and won the Midland Daily News Readers Choice Awards. Dorais quotes, 'Being honored by my community is exciting. It shows that they truly value my work and my contribution to the community.'
Dr. Dorais lives in Midland, Michigan, with his wife Sheryl and their 4 cats. He spends his free time at the Midland Tennis Center, the shooting range, and bicycling with his wife as well as many other activities. Dr. Dorais has a strong Chrisitan faith and is a very active member in his church. Dr. Dorais is a big fan of the 'Star Wars' movies and is a member of the 501st Legion. He is very proud of that organization's fundraising, charity work and volunteerism. He loves showing off his Darth Vader costume, whenever the opportunity arises. He especially enjoys the reactions he gets from his pediatric patients and his friends children.
Kim LettsOffice Manager
Kim started working with Dr. Dorais as his Chiropractic Assistant in the fall of 2000. She became Office Manager in 2004. Currently she is responsible for the daily office operations, patient flow, and care and is the x-ray technician.

Paula OstromBilling Specialist
Paula is very knowledgeable and enjoys her work. She lives in Coleman with her dog Sweetie and special friend Ed. Her son Paul lives near her. Paula began her career as Receptionist, Chiropractic Assistant and Billing Specialist in 1979, when she and her late husband, Floyd Ostrom, D.C., began the practice. She continues as Billing Specialist for Dr. Dorais, who purchased the practice in 1999.
Debbie TrahanChiropractic Assistant
We welcomed Debbie to our office in April of 2017. She has worked in the airline industry perviously, as well at the Midland Center for the arts for several years. Debbie is a long time Midland resident and has 3 children; a daughter still at home and 2 sons that live in other states. Debbie has been a chiropractic patient for many years and would be happy to talk to you about her experiences.
